I spent a number of years supporting patients and their family on hospice before coming to Vital Decisions in 2012. It has been a privilege for me to work all these years, serving clients as they navigate the many choices, decisions and priorities related to advanced illness or difficult to treat medical conditions. It is always an honor to be able to support clients and families during these times and knowing I am doing my best to listen, understand and offer guidance is its own reward. After 17 years as a practicing optometrist with a specialty in Low Vision, I went back to school and graduated from Pacifica Graduate Institute with an Master’s in Counseling Psychology.
