Allan Zuckoff, PhD

VP, Clinical Program Development

As VP of Clinical Program Development, Dr. Allan Zuckoff works closely with the Chief Operations Officer to bring clinical innovation and oversight to our products and services. Allan is a clinical psychologist who has spent the past 25 years specializing in Motivational Interviewing (MI) training, research, and practice. A member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) since 1998, he has served for 7 years as an officer and member of the MINT Board of Directors and has been the editor of the MINT Bulletin and Motivational Interviewing: Training, Research, Implementation, Practice.  

As a clinician, teacher, and researcher in the departments of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh from 1992-2015, Allan oversaw intervention development, training, and fidelity monitoring for a dozen clinical trials of MI in substance use, mental health, and health behavior settings. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and chapters and 2 books related to this work, and most recently is the author (with Bonnie Gorscak, PhD) of Finding Your Way to Change: How the Power of Motivational Interviewing Can Reveal What You Want and Help You Get There, published by Guilford Press and available in English, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish.
